Located in the Bay of Concepcion in Talcahuano, Chile, it is ASMAR’s main shipyard.
In its facilities, highly qualified employees carry out maintenance, comprehensive repairs, modernization and recovery of war and commercial units of up to 96,000 dwt and build military and commercial ships of up to 50,000 dwt.
ASMAR’s vision is to have the management, infrastructure, processes and trained personnel to maintain the Navy’s units at mandated levels, making its repair and shipbuilding capacities available to the Chilean Navy and shipping companies around the world, in order to achieve full employment, and achieve costs that will transform it into a more competitive and profitable Company.
