Two French Companies settled in Côte D’Ivoire since 1947 namely the Société Nouvelle des Ateliers et Chantiers du Havre (SNACH) and the Société Nouvelle des Chargeurs Delmas Vielleux (SNCDV) were respectiveley represented by the Ateliers et Chantiers Navals d’Afrique Française (ACAF) that became later on the Atelier et Chantiers de Côte d’Ivoire (ACCI).
