About

Located in the island of Syros South East of Piraeus in the middle of the Aegean Sea, the yard was established in 1861. Since privatized in 1994, it has undergone a technical evolution, implementing an ambitious investment program of more than 35 million euro. It has since become famous for the quality of its services, provided by some of the most experienced craftsmen in the Mediterranean.

Quay space totalling 1,100 meters, served by 1x40t, 1x20t and 3x25t travelling jib cranes, enabeling vessels up to 150,000 dwt to be repair afloat. Equipped with fixed installations for the supply of fresh water, sea water, compressed air, as well as AC/DC electric power, provided by the Shipyard's own 3,000 KVA generating power plant. Additional cranage is provided by one 200t floating crane, plus and ample range of mobile units.

Modern slop reception and tank cleaning services are provided by "LANADO II", a purpose-built to DNV standards stop-reception barge.

A bunkering station, supplying all grades of marine fuels, is located just opposite the yard within the harbour area.

A permanent Neorion's team of divers with modern equipment is available for underwater inspections and photo/video assignments.

Our shipyard is equipped with two floating dry docks, both fitted with hydraulic dock arms and adjustable side blocks. They are fitted with fresh water/sea water, compressed air, liquid propane, steam, AC/DC power supplies and phone connections.
